A Gotta Read book
I just finished "Cruel And Unusual Punishment" by Nonie Darwish and I have to say it really opened my eyes to sharia law.
Mrs Darwish is a former Egyptian and muslim that immigrated to the US and converted to Christianity about 30 years ago, so she knows what the fuck she's talking about.
She explains the origins of sharia, then goes on to explain the concept, and finally lays out the disaster that it is today, both in the middle east and the US.
The book is very informative and easy to understand, easy enough for an Okie and possibly even a Marine (Fuck you, Woody) to understand.
I highly recommend this book for anybody that's concerned with the muslim takeover of the world.
It's available at Barnes & Noble and also at Amazon for under 15 bucks, so spare the price of an 18 pack and get some book larnin'.

I DID NOT kill bin laden on my vacation
Y'all may have noticed that I didn't post anything about bin laden. There was no need to, the news spread like wildfire.
I was walking CGD around the block so he could visit his neighborhood kids when cheers erupted from the house we were in front of. I thought there was a football/baseball/basketball (I don't follow sports) game on and didn't think much about it when the lady of the house came out and asked how long I'd been walking The Beast. I said "I dunno, a half hour mebbe?" and she gave me the news, said the bin laden had been killed by a bomb 4 days ago and they just released it after confirming his DNA.
I went home and that was the same story I got online.
Today I get the paper and hear that he was killed yesterday by a SEAL Team with a head shot through his eye.
Good going, Guys. I love you. The entire country loves you.
And no, I didn't have anything to do with it regardless of a couple of cool comments I got today.

A bomber detonated an explosive device just as police officers were about to start Friday prayers yesterday at their mosque in a compound in West Java, killing himself and injuring up to 25 others, some gravely.
Witnesses told Indonesian media outlets that the bomb was let off just after the iqamah, the call that signals that prayers are about to begin. The perpetrator was male, clad in black and stood facing the congregation, his prayer mat still rolled up in his hand, before he triggered the explosive device, said accounts provided to the website of the magazine Gatra.
He shouted praise to God before the attack, the report said.

Saw this over at Right Truth this morning and had to steal it.
Hey, when we were kids, we all played Cowboys and Indians, right? But who always won? The good guys, our heroes the cowboys, right?
You can see who the hero in their play is - the suicide bomber.
Watch where the bomber (in black) says goodbye to all his friends, then is stopped by the security forces, then throws dirt and dust into the air to simulate an explosion.
Even if this clip was staged by adults (it probably was given the quality) it's still disturbing. These are the kids that our kids will be fighting in a few years.
We can only hope for lots of premature detonations.

Burning the koran
So there's this big deal about Terry Jones burning the koran and starting a bunch of shit. I've been hearing from several different sites with large readership that we should all burn a koran on the 4th of July and punking them motherfuckers out big time.
Allow me to express my views on this.........
I personally will not do this for a couple of reasons.
#1) I can't find my copy of the koran that I bought from a used (remember the phrase used) bookstore just after 9/11. Maybe I tossed it, maybe my unclean wolfdog (muslims think dogs are unclean yet they'll fuck a goat - go figure) drug it out and buried it, maybe I used it for shitpaper when I ran low of my ultrasoft 4 ply asswipe.
Hell, maybe I used it to drain the grease off my bacon. But I honestly don't know where it is.
But I won't go out and buy a new one for this special occasion. Why not?
#2) Because I refuse to trade with any muslim owned business or any company that does business with muslims. I'll be damned if I'll put my dollars into their pockets. And believe me, if you buy a new koran from the bookstore to burn, you're sending your support and money to an islamic business. A used bookstore may be a different matter. That, I don't know.
My alternative?
Take your dog for a walk and let him piss on mosque property.
Go your local farmer and get pigs' blood, dry it and defile the property with it.
Scatter bacon (it's not wasting it, it's for a good cause) in their parking lot. Keep in mind it's probably guarded with video.
And my favorite - eat some greasy fucking bacon with your fingers, go to your bookseller and handle every fucking koran or hadith you can find. Then write the mosque (taking proper precautions) and let them know what you did - months later.
My point is this: Don't put your bucks into their pockets for something that won't make a difference unless it's a personal satisfaction deal, but even then, only buy from a used bookstore.
If you want to fuck with them, there's so many other different ways.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) told CBS’s Bob Schieffer on Sunday that some members of Congress were considering some kind of action in response to the Florida Quran burning that sparked a murderous riot at a United Nations complex in Afghanistan and other mayhem.
“Ten to 20 people have been killed,” Reid said on “Face the Nation,” but refused to say flat-out that the Senate would pass a resolution condemning pastor Terry Jones.
“We’ll take a look at this of course…as to whether we need hearings or not, I don’t know,” he added.
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), a military lawyer, is the first member of Congress to say the legislature needs to explore the possibility, however unlikely, of limiting some kinds of free speech – like Terry Jones’ Quran burning – that help America’s enemies.
“I wish we could find a way to hold people accountable. Free speech is a great idea, but we’re in a war,” he told CBS’s Bob Schieffer on “Face the Nation.”
“During World War II, we had limits on what you could do if it inspired the enemy,” Graham said, adding that he wanted to do “anything we can to push back here in America against acts like this that put our troops at risk.”
