Zoya Rihana

All of you who knows me a bit better knows that shimmery polishes makes me weak. I'm really crazy about shimmery polishes, and the more depth the shimmer gives to nail polish the more I like it. You can probably imagine how long have I been starring at this manicure =).
I won't talk any more, I'll just show you the pictures
Shade pictures with my much shorter nails, because I just broke one the previous day:

I just love the shimmery fire in the bottle <3

Like it?

Wait for the sun pictures =)

I really don't know if it is only me or this polish is really really beautiful =).
What do you think about this one?

Some crappy swatches/layering/comparison

Because I can't find my camera USB cable I can't upload the pictures from my camera ( I really think that my brother has something to do with the missing cable) so I've got nothing else to show you, but these really bad photos that are quite old, but not really old =).

On the first I used 2 coats of Essence Black out from Black and White LE

Than I played with one of the fauxnad plates and Make me holo top coat, which is also from Black and White LE, but I didn't take a picture. I only took a picture later, when I added different top coats to compare finishes that they make.
I used Essie good to go on my index finger, no top coat on the middle finger, ProNails mat finish on ring finger, and Essence matt top coat on the pinkie.

Top coats I used from L to R: Essie good to go, ProNails mat finish, Essence matt top coat

In the end I applied these polishes on my nails, I really can't remember how many coats on which fingers, because these pictures were never meant to be published, because my nails are really messy, but I had no choice =(.

Pleas be gentle with the criticism.

Have a nice day =)

Unlucky Extravagance

Unlucky DS Extravagance?
Yes, mine is really unlucky when it comes to photo shooting, because every time I apply it on my nails and have camera with me, there is not enough sun to take a decent picture of the amazing holo effect. Because this happened 2 times now, I gave up and decided that I'll post the pictures anyway. Also because this polish is so beautiful I'm 100% positive that it will be on my nails at least a dozen times =).

The application was great, I never liked opi wide brush, but I think the every time I use this brush I like it more, though I still don't like it, but I don't hate it ether =).

I applied 2 coats and it dried really fast =).

Though the holo effect id visible on some pictures, the pictures just don't do justice to this polish, so I'm really sorry about that. I promise that next time I'll take better pictures =).

I'm in love with this polish and this is probably my favourite holographic nail polish =)

Do you own DS Extravagance?

Tomorrow I'm going to show you my first scotch tape manicure I made =)

Cowgirl Up with stamping

Hi!

I have another post for you today!
Now I'm going to show you how I upgraded Cowgirl Up from CG.
I used M64 fauxnad image plate and Essence stamy plack polish. I also decorated my ring finger with some rhinestones I got from Courtney in my last swap.
Here are the pictures:

the first 2 were taken in shade

and the last one was taken on the sun
I just love sunny days =)

What do you think about this one. IMO the rhinestones just don't fit well with the rest look. What do you think about that?

Tomorrow I'm going to show you OPI DS Extravagance =) ( If the sun will be shining)

Cowgirl Up

Today I'm going to show you some pictures from a polish that has been on my WL for ages. With Courteny's(from Lacquer Lady) help I finally got it. And today I enjoyed every single minute of wearing this polish =). Thank you!

Yes' I'm talking about China Glaze: Cowgirl up. I know you are probably laughing now: "Haha, I have this polish for ages, this woman is really behind the moon!", but it's not like in US here in Slovenia, I can't buy China Glaze polishes anywhere but in Slovenian web shop, but they are really pricey there, not to mention, that they don't have a lot of shades available. I know, pay pal also exist, but I'm really afraid to make an account because I know I will spend all of my money on buying polishes =). Anyway this polish is really great for applying. I applied 2 coats it dried really fast and shiny, but I just had to add a coat of one of my new to coats that I also got from Courtney, so this time I decided for CND Air Dry and I have to say that it is really good =). I won't bore you with words any more, lets take a deep breath, and have a loooong look at the pictures =).

Of course I can be a big baby from time to time, and I just had to play with water

All 3 pictures above were taken it the shade, but the one below was taken under direct sun light.

Isn't it just to die for?

I will probably add some konad tomorrow, I hope I get it right this time.
I also changed my nail shape, because I a girl commented that I should round a bit my tip, because they look to wide if I have square nail tip, and I really think that she was right, as much as I like square nail tip, I had to say goodbye because it really makes my nails too wide. What do you think? Is this shape better or I should go to the old square tip version?

Cute as Hell LE: Date me

Hi!

Firstly I'd like to say that I'm really surprised upon your positive reaction on my recycle giveaway. I really didn't expect that there will be 40 entries in a day and a half. I think that this is very positive, so thank you all for entering =).

No to countinue with the manicure. I wore this manicure a few days ago, and because the polish is perfect for stamping I was planing to stampi it, but I didn't succed so I'll publish only no stamping pictures.
The polish is from Essence Cute as Hell LE form spring 2010, I applied 2 coats, the polish dried quite fast, and surprisingly didn't applied as hell like the pink one from this LE. I didn't apply any TC.

Here are the pictures:
Essence Cute as Hell LE: Date me

Essence Cute as Hell LE: Date me

Perfect for stamping right? Too bad I failed =(.

Have a nice evening!

China Glaze Flying Dragon (neon)

Hi!

I's been a while since my last post. I realised how much time I spend on the internet so I decided that I won't blog for a while, but here I am now with some nail pictures prepared, I'll start with China Glaze Flying Dragon (neon) that I got from Ivana. Thank you!

Here are the pictures:
Because it dries matte, I added a coat of top coat on my ring finger. The top coat really reveals the blue glitter in the polish.

Sorry for the bad application and pictures. These are the best I took at that time =).
I applied 3 coats it polish and it applied nicely.

I also moved to my student dorm, and I got a room mate form Slovakia so now I can practice my English all the time =). She is the best, and she also doesn't mind my nail polish addiction =).

Also thank you all for your kind comments and welcome new followers =).

Click, look and love

Hi,

today I'm going to show you pictures first:

Are you in love? I'm definitely in love in this color combination.
You are probably wondering why I named my post like that. I named it like that because you have click on the link that the post opens, than you look at the pictures, because I placed pictures at the beginning, and than you just love the combination. Yeah, I have a crazy day again =).

I should probably tell you what I used for this manicure. I layered 1 coat of Orly Fantasea over 1 coat of Catrice Purposely Purple, and added a coat of my new TC.
And you know what is the best part, that all pictures are realistic, because it changes when you look at your nails from different angles. My favourite look is on the 3rd picture. Which picture is your favourite?

I have an exam tomorrow, but I already know that I'm not going to pass because I didn't learn enough, so all I did today was looking through different blogs and look for some swatches of new essence products for March. I dicovered some pretty polishes so I just can't wait for them to be available in shops.

I changed my manicure today, and it was a really Valentine's day manicure horror. Can't wait to show it to you, but you'll have to wait for it until tomorrow.

Ohh, did I already told you how much I like this combination? Neh, I probably didn't. So I'll tell it again. I LOOOOOOVE IT =).
I promise I'll stop now. Have a nice day, and thank you for reading this =)

Catrice: Purposely Purple

Hi,
I meant to publish this post yesterday, but I had a bad headache so I wasn't able to look at the computer, and I just went to bed very early.
Today I'll present you a Catrice polish from Expect the Unexpected LE called Purposely Purple. It is a dark creamy purple, and 1 coater that dries really fast. The application was very good. I was over in no time. I added 1 coat of CM fast drying top coat, which disappointed me when I tried it for the first time( I applied 2 thick coats of polish over 3 coats of polish, and expected it will dry fast), but I tried it again and got really good results, though it doesn't dry as fast as Essie Good To Go.
Here are the pictures of the polish:

I wasn't able to get the right color, this polish is a bit darker, but this 2 are the only pictures that the polish didn't turn out blue.
Today I layered it with one polish from my collection and I'll upload the pictures tomorrow. I hope you'll like my layering attempt. I'm definitely loving it =)

Glittery commercial

Hi!!!!

Firstly I'd like to say welcome to all of my new followers, and also thank you all for following me =). I think that I'll soon have to start thinking about 350+ giveaway to say thank you =). I really never expected to have so many readers. THANK YOU =).
To continue with the post. I just didn't know how to name this post, is I gave it a silly name. Glittery because I have a special glittery polish for you today, and commercial, because I'l make a commercial for my friend's blog. =)

I decided to start with the polish. Many of you may still remember the nail mail I got from Ivana ( I showed it a few posts ago). With your help I decided that I'll try Kleancolor- Vegas night first. I applied 3 coats, though fourth would probably be needed. I kinda struggled with the applications, since this was the first only glitter polish I tried, but still managed to make it look average. I didn't use any top coat, but I think that if I would, I would definitely make it shine even more =). The polish consists blue and purple glitter, from which blue is in majority.   OK, I won't bore you with the description, lets take look at the pictures:
blue and purple glitter, I really hope you can see it

a bit blurry to see the sparkle
And 2 pictures with bottle in my hands:

So how do you like it? I like it a loooooot, though about 3 months ago, I couldn't even stand a single look at the glitter *blush*.
I'm sorry for badly shaped index finger, but I had a really bad crack and I had no choice, but to file them down all the way. I hope the'll grow a bit longer soon.

So, now it is probably time for a commercial. You may go get a snack or go to the toilet now =).
Just kidding! A few post ago I mentioned that my friend just started a blog, and since you all know how it is like to be at the begging,  I decided to make a commercial for her, despite the fact that I have to show you my pictures because of that.

Her blog is about her MU, nail polish and polymer clay( her cupcake charms are really adorable) . You can visit her here.
Here is one of her creations:
I know the MU isn't really visible in the picture and the colors are a bit off( my eyes should be brown and MU purple), but I just wanted to show you, that her MU made me look a bit less ugly that I am. Whoever achieves that, must be a really good =).
At the time that this picture was shoot, we didn't have a clue that we will be blog owners and will need a better MU pictures.

Here is another picture, also her MU, but I think that even if you enlarge the picture you won't see the MU clearly, I added it just for fun, and that you'll see, that I just love rum =).
This picture was shot by Urša Tomažin =)

This is it for today.

Oh, I totally forgot, I should probably add something in this style: GO CHECK OUT HER BLOG!

Coming next: Zoya: Roxy

Bright purple

I still don't polish my nails, today was my 9th day, so only 5 days to go =). In the meanwhile I'm gonna show you first BarryM polish that I tried. It is called Bright purple, I applied 2 coats, it applied well. I didn't add TC. Here are the pictures:

in daylight

and in my light box

I don't have any idea why my light box makes every polish look like it has a satin finish.
Do you have any idea why?

Calm or Wild ?

Do you wanna know how stupid I am?
Sure you do =).
I'm not a big fan of word verification ( but I don't mind that some of you have it) , and since I never had to write the verification words when I commented on my blog, I thought that I turned it off, but it was on the whole 4 months.
So how stupid am I that it took me 4 months to figure this out?
Yes, I know, pretty dumb...
Well at least I turned it of now ( I hope so)

To continue with the polish. I wore this polish almost a week ago. It is called Calm/Wild. For those of you who haven't figured it out, I'm talking about a Claire's Mood polish=). I was really happy that Ivana sent this one to me that I can finally play with the color changing polish =).

Thank you Ivana.

I applied 2 coats, polish dried quickly with a satin finish, but sadly it didn't last longer than a day and a half.

Here are the pictures:

Pink is for those who are wild and purple is for those who are calm. My hands are really cold, so I guess I'm a calm person =).

Sadly the polish didn't change the color on the tips differently as on my nail beds.
And because I wanted to see the color change I had to put my nails into hot water.
It turned pink and I became wild =)

And then I put my nails into cold water. I was calm again =)

Do you own any color changing polishes?

Thank you all for answering on the pool and to those who are going to answer  =)

I just had to do something else than maths =(

I was learning maths today practically all day long, and when I'm learning, I'm subconsciously ruining my manicure by tearing off the polish. Sometimes I try to prevent that by putting another layer of polish on( and because of the drying process, I leave it alone for 30 minutes or so). Because I don't like learning maths theory, I tried extra hard, and do something special, just to be away from my books for a while longer. I'm not proud of this(using polishing for excuse). Do you (did you ever) do something like that?

Here is my manicure. I used Lacura- Cyclam and Catrice- Poison me, Poison you(one of my favorite polishes)
Here are the pictures:

Hot or not?

For the last 3 days my nails were unpolished, and because I didn't post anything for a long time, I have an old picture for you.
For the base I used 2 coats of Catrice: Hot or not?. The polish applied nicely and was almost opaque with the first one(like almost all Catrice polishes). On the base I stamped a pattern from konad m64 image plate. I used Catrice: Poison me, Poison you. In the end I applied one layer of Essence quick dry top coat. This is how it looked like:
With flash

since I can upload 5 pictures, here are two bonus pictures for you:

Do you recognize the butterflies on the necklace? Here is a proof that nail supplies can come handy in other situations.
because I wish you all a lucky day.....(please don't stare in mutated eyes)
