I Was Thinking About This

Gio Gonzales pitched last night for the A's and they beat the Angels 14-0. Last week against Texas, Gio pitched 2 and 2/3rds and gave up 7 earned runs. That game was rained out so none of it counted. I've always been of the position that even if the game is rained out, all the stats should count. One of the Ranger's players hit a grand slam and he doesn't get credit for it. Why? The home run was hit in legitimate league play and it should count. If it was my grand slam I'd be feeling pretty rooked about now. The rule will never change, but it ought to.
