The Club played the Legends course at Diablo Grande last Sunday. It had rained all week and though we got no rain during our outing, the course was really mushy. None of the members played all that well, but I played to my personal worse, shooting 154. I lost about a dozen balls and took at least 7 holes of double digits. I had two bogies and no pars. I don't know what the hell to do, I guess I need to find someone to give me a lesson or two. I didn't swing and miss, but I did just about everything else to cause my score to skyrocket.The course had the carts on the paved path only, and that meant the round took a long time. Swinging 154 times made the round feel like a marathon.
I still enjoy golf, but it was a trying day.
