I will definitely not forget you!

Hi!

Today I'm going to show you a pretty blue polish from Blossoms LE from Essence. I know, I know, you've seen it on many different blogs and in many versions, but I still have to show you my version.

I applied 2 coats of Essence: Forget Me Not and I must tell you, that this polish applied like heaven. I'm really in love =). I'll definitely not forget you! 

It also contains a small amount of darker blue shimmer, but that is not visible in the picture nor on nails, you can only see it in the bottle, or may be in a picture taken with flash.

I also added a bow with one of the fauxnad plates I have and Sally Hansen Blue it( I don't know why I used this polish in my last 3 manicures, I guess it was the closest when I felt like creating something ^_^).

And yes, I know, it's BLUE AGAIN, but I can't help it =).

Calypso Breeze is back!

As promised I have to show you pictures of another manicure I did with Calypso Breeze.

Here it is:

I still don't know if I like Calypso Breeze, but because Orly Bottles are big, I think I'll have a lot of times to decide.

For stamping I used one of the BM plates( I'm too lazy to look the nuber up) and a mixture of Essence B&W LE White hype and Sally Hansen Blue it.

Do you like the final result?

Crack 'em black Mommy =)

This is the name of the essence crackle polish in black, and I had to remove the sticker just to read the name, because they decided that there will be black words on the bottle that contains black fluid, REALLY SMART =).

I'm not a big fan of crackle polishes, this is why I'm not all over the Shatters and China Glaze crackles, but still I wouldn't be a polishaholic if I didn't own at least one crackle polish. Right?

And because all of my friends know that I'm really into nail polish, they asked me if I've heard about a nail polish that cracks. 

Doh, of course I know them, there is no chance that I would miss such a big trend as this is =)( but I kinda forgive them because some of them don't know I write a nail polish related blog and that there is literally no chance that I would miss this trend) . Anyway, they wonted to see this polish and I brought it to college with me, and I wouldn't be me if I wouldn't show this to my friend, and because I was wearing Mommy Kissing Santa I got black and red combo =). I'm really sorry because the picture quality is really bad, but it was the best I could do in the capital. ) This reminds me that I have to ask you if you want to see my new student dorm room in Ljubljana?)

I also have a fun story to share with you =)

Last Thursday I was cleaning dust from my dorm's room and I have about 15 bottles of polish there on the shelf. And I said to my room mate: Why the hell have I brought so much polishes here, now I'll have to remove them all and then place them back again( I know 15 polishes is really too much work to do ^_^). She only give me a surprised look and said that she hasn't seen so much polishes in her life, turning away was the only thing I was able to do, before I burst into a big laughter. I only thought: What would you say if I showed you the whole collection =).

Btw, I really like my room mate, she is a good person, and we get a long really well =). She also doesn't mind the smell of a nail polish remover =). But sadly she is here on Erasmus student exchange(she's from Slovakia) and she'll be gone at the end of this semester =(. I'm already afraid what my new room mate is going to be like *bitting nails*

Forever mine

Today I'm going to show you pictures of Essence Denim Wanted LE Forever mine. It is a really beautiful blue shade, but my camera didn't want to cooperate, so the color isn't really realistic in the pictures. Also I tried to do some spring like konad, but I completely failed, because it was seriously too much, and I bumped one of my nails into something, and also the design smeared. But despite all of that I decided that I'm going to show you my big fail =). Here are the pictures:

As I said this polish is from Denim Wanted LE, and it is the one I wanted to try out the most. All I can say it that I'm really thankful that Ivana sent this one to me to try out. Thank you Ivana =).

I used B02 Fauxnad plate

Essence: Forever mine

Essence: stamp me white

CND: Air dry

 This was really one of those manicures that everybody notices, and everyone was literally starring at my nails. =)

Some crappy swatches/layering/comparison

Because I can't find my camera USB cable I can't upload the pictures from my camera ( I really think that my brother has something to do with the missing cable) so I've got nothing else to show you, but these really bad photos that are quite old, but not really old =).

On the first I used 2 coats of Essence Black out from Black and White LE

Than I played with one of the fauxnad plates and Make me holo top coat, which is also from Black and White LE, but I didn't take a picture. I only took a picture later, when I added different top coats to compare finishes that they make. 

I used Essie good to go on my index finger, no top coat on the middle finger, ProNails mat finish on ring finger, and Essence matt top coat on the pinkie.

In the end I applied these polishes on my nails, I really can't remember how many coats on which fingers, because these pictures were never meant to be published, because my nails are really messy, but I had no choice =(.

My first REAL scotch tape manicure

HI!

Lately there is a lot of scotch tape manicures in the blogging word because of Erika from Chloe's nails. She makes really awesome nail arts only with scissors and scotch tape(but I think you all already know this)! In one of her posts she also used crafting scissors and because I loved it so much I just had to try it. You can check out here version here.

Here are the pictures of my version:

I used 2 coats od Color Club: Frostbite for the base, and than added one coat of Essence: Fatal. In the end I applied Seche Vite fat drying top coat.

Do you like my version of scotch tape manicure?

This wasn't my first attempt of a manicure with a scotch tape. A few years ago, I wanted to do a manicure in rasta colours, and I also used scotch tape for it, but because I didn't wait long enough for all the coats to dry I had a really ugly manicure instead =). At least I learned a lesson from that. And also this is probably the reason why I waited so long to try it again, but as I asid I just couldn't resist the crafting scissors pattern =).

There is also something new on my blog. I'm going to do Guest Nails! posts. You can read more about them here. I really hope this will work, because I think it is a great opportunity for unknown bloggers to gain some readers and also I will also have a wonderful opportunity to meet some of my followers more in person =).

Cute as Hell LE: Date me

Hi!

Firstly I'd like to say that I'm really surprised upon your positive reaction on my recycle giveaway. I really didn't expect that there will be 40 entries in a day and a half. I think that this is very positive, so thank you all for entering =).

No to countinue with the manicure. I wore this manicure a few days ago, and because the polish is perfect for stamping I was planing to stampi it, but I didn't succed so I'll publish only no stamping pictures.

The polish is from Essence Cute as Hell LE form spring 2010, I applied 2 coats, the polish dried quite fast, and surprisingly didn't applied as hell like the pink one from this LE. I didn't apply any TC.

My boyfriend's jeans got flaked and a giveaway questino

Hi, I don't feel like writing a lot today, because I'm really sick.

Here are pictures of a manicure that I wore a week ago.

2 coats of Essence Denim Wanted My boyfriend's jeans. It dried really fast and I had no poroblem with application.

Because I wanted to spice it up, I applied 1 coat of Essence Glisten up. Here is the final look:

In the end I'd like to ask you for your opinion. I realised that I have just too many nail polish, and for some of them I'm positive that I'm never going to wear again. So I decided that I'll make a recycle giveaway, which means that I'll give away used polishes and now I am asking you what do you think about my idea. Is it like: "Hell no, I'm not gonna participate, because they were used!", or is it: "That's not such a bad idea."?

Pretty Pink Pants

Hi, sorry for not posting a while.

Today I'm going to show you haw I upgraded my manicure with Zoya Roxy. But before I show you the pictures I must say, that I got this idea from Rebecca from Goose's glitter, which is definitely worth a visit. I really like her manicure, and also the story, why this manicure was created. You can see her manicure here.She named her post Ugly mint pants, of course I just had to copy the name to. I only changed Ugly into Pretty because I kinda like the combination, but I can't even imagine a man wearing pants in the color of Roxy =). Rebecca, I hope you won't get too upset upon my crime. =)

Roxy is soooooo beautiful with shiny TC. I 

 I used black polish from Essence from B&W LE and also added 1 coat of  Essie G2G. Sadly the dots I made with Roxy are nearly invisible.

And later I even mattified it. I kinda like the look I end up with, thouh I'm not such a big fan of matte finish.

How do you like my manicure?

I just broke my nail again( punishment for not being careful while opening the fridge) . My nails will be a lot shorter in my next post.

I'm just wearing the most beautiful green shade ever made(IMO). Which one do you think it is? Which is your favourite green shade?

Hi, sorry for being MIA for a few days, but I've been busy. I had to learn for my Physic exam, Meggie had a really bad constipation and  I really panicked, and I was helping my father making firewood.

As I mentioned it before I really need your help. I can't decide which one to try out first, so I'm asking you: Which one would be your first pick?

Probably an hour ago the pool about which finishes do you like the most ended. Holographic finish ended up first, on the second place were shimmer and glitter. Frost and foil finish shared the last place. To be honest I expected that frost finish will not get a single vote, but it got 4.

And a poor picture of a nail polish I wore a couple of days before. 2 coats of Essence Bonnie + 1 coat of Essie good to go. The color isn't real but this is the best shot I could get

You are probably wondering why I put a butterfly over my ring finger cuticle. I always remember to use my cuticle remover too late, so I got I small wound that I won't share with you =).

Glitter

A while ago my friend went on a shopping trip to Vienna and brought me 2 Flomar polishes and 2 polishes from Bipa. One of the Flomar polishes looks like this:

In this picture the you can't see that it has holographic glitter in it.

Firstly I didn't know how exactly I will use it, but then I decided that I'll use it for layering.

I layered 2 coats of this polish over my previous manicure( 2 coats of Essence: Once Upon a Time)

Here are 2 a bit blurry pictures to show you how sparkly it was IRL:

I'm not a big glitter fan, but I like it a lot.

What do you think of this combo? 

Thank you all for taking some time and answering the pool. Currently holographic finish is in the lead, but will it win?

It took me a while to realise that I forgot quite important nail polish finis: creamy. I can be really  sloppy sometimes =).

I think I still have it

I was really worried that I won't be able to polish my nails today, because I haven't polish them more than 3 weeks, but I discovered that I still have it =). Though the application isn't perfect, and I didn't do any clean up, but I was expecting much worse. 

I decided I'll use Essence Once upon a time from Fairytale LE, because I'm crazy about reds with something special, and this one has really special gold and red glitter in it. This polish is really a must have =). 

I had no problems with application, I applied 2 coats, because my tips were still visible under strong light. I didn't use top coat.

This picture is a bit off, but I added it just to show the gold glitter a bit more, though it is not all that visible IRL

and the last one

the color is way off, I just added it to show you, that if I take pictures in my LB with a new light bulb the polish still looks matte. That doesn't bother me that much, because the day light light bulb is great and I can make quite color accurate pictures under it =).

Ulimel, thank you again for the light bulb recommendation, the bulb really rocks =).

BTW, Ulimel has a really beautiful blog, and if you haven't checked it out I don't know what are you waiting for ^_^

BarryM vrs. Essence

Today I have a comparison for you, that I did a long time ago. I compared Essence: Break through with BarryM: Bright purple. First I thought they look the same, but when I put the bottles together I saw, that they are quite different, but I had to compare them on my nails. 

Edit:I totally forgot to writhe this down:
Both are two coats, but could get away with only one
Doth dried really fast
I didn't test the wear because I removed it after a took the pictures

I won't describe colors, because I really suck at that, but you can see it for yourselves that they are really different.

day light

Really different right? Does it happen to you too, that you think that polishes look the same, but when you put them together you see, that they are totally different and you need both?

Tropicalia

Today I have another Wet n Wild polish for you. This one is called Tropicalia. I applied 2 coats, it applied nicely. 

 After one day of wear I decided to add some stamps on it. I used B02 fauxnad plate and Essence: Stamp me black. Here are the results:

I just realised how many fauxnad and konad plates I have, but I really seldom use them. I really have to start stamping =)

Do you like the final look? Do you have a lot of konad/fauxnad image plates?

I just made a light box(if I may call it that way), and I'm really happy, because now I can take pictures when the weather is bad or even at night =)
