Here's a link to a story where an arm of the Government (National Cancer Institute) praises the cancer fighting effects of smoking pot. Later, the wording is changed to downplay the effectiveness of pot. I'd like to know who is getting the payoff for keeping pot illegal. The Fed's idea that pot has no medicinal use is fallacy and we all know it. This is a national tragedy, the number of sick people denied access to pot and the number of people locked up for simple possession, as well as the amount of tax money wasted on the eradication efforts.
